We have had problems with dates in May, so moving to June.

Due to Insurance reasons we need to clarify some details about tomorrows event.

* There will be Drift demonstrations by Experienced Drifters.
* You will be able to practise your drifting as much as you want.
* You will able to participate as a passenger once you sign the appropriate indemnity form.
* Static (Stationary) Burnouts are not Permitted.
* There will be NO Instruction provided on how to drift.

Ahhh insurance... they can ruin a lot of good things. It's a shame that it can only be practice now... would have been a good experience for those wishing to learn.

Could I suggest that a professional drifter commentates while another professional drifter drifts so basically they can give instruction without actually being in someones car or telling people what to do etc? That way those that have very little experience can grasp some good tips and tricks before they get unleashed onto a track causing a potentially dangerous situation.

It'll be just like any normal drift practise, but ......
Its low speed in a tarmac area, and water will be provided for those who want it
The experienced Drifters will be doing demonstration runs and can also give passenger rides.

* There are only 10 spots for each session
* There are 2 courses setout, so effectively only 5 cars on each course
* Degree of difficulty is varied to suit driver experience and increases throughout each session
* Noddy and Sara will be there again doing demonstration runs
* We should have access to the police car again and will be doing passenger rides.
* Price includes one passenger in your car whilst you drift
* No noise restrictions
* Location is the Qld Raceway Driver Training Area CP2 (The back carpark where the gokarts used to be at QR)
